I am part of the Healthcare team, specialising in elderly care, particularly working with small care home group businesses.
I find great satisfaction in collaborating with smaller providers, as it affords me the opportunity to truly understand my clients and cultivate both personal and professional relationships. Additionally, I am well-equipped to handle all aspects of their financial setup, ranging from management accounting and VAT returns to annual accounts, audits, and tax compliance.
Having started work straight out of school, I have accumulated valuable experience in practice from day one. Initially, I obtained the AAT qualification and subsequently pursued ACA. I began my career at a smaller practice, driven by the ambition to eventually work at a larger firm. For the past nine years, I have been a part of Hazlewoods, being a member of the healthcare team for all of that time.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work I am kept busy by my twin boys who are nearly 5 years old, alongside renovating a house with my husband and looking after our dachshund Darcy. Somehow, I find time to bake the occasional wedding cake for friends and family – baking being my passion outside of work.
