• Partner in the Healthcare team supporting various clients in the sector with audit, financial reporting and general advice.
• Also a particular focus and specialism in the charities and not-for-profit sector (healthcare and non-healthcare)
• Provide technical advice on audit and financial reporting matters, including specialising in UK GAAP to IFRS conversions
• Joined the firm from university (Maths degree at Oxford) in 1997 and progressed from audit junior. Appointed as a partner in 2010.
• Undertake various internal roles at the firm : Audit Compliance Partner, Risk Partner and Money Laundering Reporting Officer
• Career providing services to corporates has led to experience in corporate transactions, financing and tax matters working alongside my colleagues in the corporate finance and tax teams.
Hobbies & Interests
• Avid football fan, have been in playing, coaching and supporting (Sheffield Wednesday). Still playing veterans’ football while my body will allow it.
• I also enjoy hill-walking and am trying to see how many Scottish Munros I can conquer, but with only 23 out of 282 completed I still have some way to go.
• Also enjoy being on the stage – get involved in the local am dram society and compered the Hazlewoods 2024 annual conference!
