As part of our commitment to look after the Health and Wellbeing of our employees, Hazlewoods has established mental health first aiders across the firm.
These ten Hazlewoods’ employees have been fully certified by Mental Health First Aid England, and are there to provide colleagues with initial confidential support, encouragement, and signposting to identify and access sources of professional help and other support, as required, should anyone be experiencing mental health issues or emotional distress in the workplace.
Our MHFAiders, as well as members from our HR team, completed training with Claire Bennett from Hornbeam Training, and are now certified by Mental Health First Aid England as Mental Health First Aiders.
Like traditional first aiders who provide immediate assistance for physical injuries, our MHFAiders will provide the same offer of support and assistance to those who may be experiencing mental health issues or emotional distress in the workplace. They will provide initial confidential support, encouragement, and signposting to identify and access sources of professional help and other support, as required.
